2005: A Race Odyssey Event Spring Thaw Half Marathon and 5k

This race will be held at the Clay County Rec Park: Start time will be 10am for both races: This is the same venue that we will be holding our Half Ironman Distance race on May 14th and a great chance to get an idea of what that course will have in store for you triathlon racers. It goes out on a paved trail that weaves through the campgrounds then out over the Chatuge Dam and down a lightly traveled road then a turnaround and back. We will have 3 water stops along the course, giving the runners 6 stops for water on each lap. The scenery is second to none and the course is challenging in some spots and very fast and flat in others. Come and join us for this great addition to the Great Smoky Mts Triathlon Club race season.
